To catch the best views of the mountains and gorgeous Southwestern landscape, you can soar above it all in a hot air balloon. Rainbow Ryders is located between Phoenix and Scottsdale and is highly rated for their hot air balloon ride.


The Verde Canyon Railroad provides scenic train rides through the Verde Canyon. They offer morning rides every weekend, day trips, and tours by request. A family favorite is the Magical Christmas Journey, which runs through a beautifully decorated Christmas village.
